This bakery was experiencing issues with waste water leaking onto the ground, causing bad smells and attracting flies.

We lifted the slabs in the area and broke out, down to a suitable depth allowing space for the new gully. We then broke out a channel for the new pipework and connected the gully into the downstream chamber. We then installed the gully on a new concrete base followed by surrounding the unit in more concrete.

Once all concreted in, we had to create a raised surround using engineering bricks up to existing levels. Then further concrete used to create a new base for the existing slabs. We relaid the slabs to existing levels making cuts were necessary, then carried out reinstating works using black dye concrete to finish, followed by installing new grates.
