Chamber Cover Repositioning

Our customer was experiencing issues with a recess cover located on a customers pathway not set square to the chamber and regularly blocking.

We carefully removed the slabs and broke out the area down to a suitable depth. We removed the existing frame and reset it, square to the chamber on a bed of soft sand and cement. Once set we surrounded the area in concrete to existing level.

Once the concrete base had set, we reinstated the slabs to existing levels making cuts where necessary. Once the slabs had been relaid, we carried out pointing-in work to finish.
