This foul system was suffering from badly deformed and blistered pitch fibre pipes, a common problem with this type of pipe.
I had to lift part of the crazy paving path and dig down to the old pipework which I cut out and replaced with new plastic pipe.
The new pipe was tested, surrounded with shingle and back filled up to level. Finally, I relaid the crazy paving on a new bed of sharp sand and cement followed by new pointing to finish.
