Water main repair works

Our customer had noticed water leaking up through the tarmac in their neighbours driveway. We attended site and cut straight lines in the tarmac, followed by breaking out the area and excavating down into the problematic pipe.


Once we had exposed the leaking pipe, we removed a short section and replaced with new 20mm MDPE polypipe, complete with two new 20mm couplings, then tested to ensure no further leaks.


We then surrounded the new pipe in soft sand and compacted, then backfilled and compacted up to existing levels where we reinstated with new tarmac. Once all works were completed, we cleared site and left in a clean and tidy manner.
